Chapter 7
1 On the day Moses finished setting up the tent of meeting, he put oil on it, made it holy, and did the same for all its equipment, the altar, and all its tools.
2 The leaders of Israel, the heads of their families, who were in charge of the tribes and oversaw the counting, gave offerings.
3 They presented their gift to God: six covered carts and twelve oxen. Each two leaders shared a cart, and each leader had an ox. They brought them in front of the tent of meeting.
4 God spoke to Moses, saying,
5 Accept it from them so they can work in the meeting tent; give it to the Levites, to each one as his work requires.
6 Moses took the carts and oxen and gave them to the Levites.
7 He gave the sons of Gershon two carts and four oxen, as needed for their work.
8 God gave the sons of Merari four wagons and eight oxen because of their work, with Ithamar, Aaron’s son and priest, in charge.
9 But he did not give any to the Kohathites, because their task was to carry the holy things on their shoulders.
10 The leaders gave gifts to honor the altar on the day it was blessed, and they presented their gifts in front of the altar.
11 God told Moses, “Each leader should give their gift on their own day to dedicate the altar.”
12 The first person to present his gift was Nahshon, Amminadab’s son, from Judah’s tribe.
13 His gift was one silver plate weighing 130 shekels and one silver bowl of 70 shekels, as weighed by the sanctuary. Both were filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering.
14 One spoon weighing ten gold shekels, filled with incense:
15 One young bull, one male sheep, one baby sheep less than a year old, for a burnt sacrifice.
16 One young goat for a sin offering.
17 For a peace offering, they gave two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs. This was Nahshon son of Amminadab’s offering.
18 On the second day, Nethaneel, Zuar’s son and the leader of Issachar, made an offering.
19 He gave a silver plate weighing 130 shekels and a silver bowl of 70 shekels, using the sanctuary’s standard weight, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering.
20 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with incense.
21 One young bull, one male sheep, one lamb that is one year old, for a offering to be completely burned.
22 A young goat for a sin offering.
23 For a peace offering sacrifice, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, five one-year-old lambs: this was Nethaneel son of Zuar’s offering.
24 On the third day, Eliab, Helon’s son and leader of Zebulun’s people, gave his offering.
25 His gift was a silver plate weighing 130 shekels and a silver bowl of 70 shekels, using the sanctuary weight standard; both filled with fine flour mixed with oil for a food offering.
26 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with sweet-smelling spices.
27 One young bull, one male sheep, one young lamb, less than a year old, for a burnt offering.
28 A young goat for a sin offering.
29 For a peace offering, they brought two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs: this was Eliab, Helon’s son’s gift.
30 On the fourth day, Elizur son of Shedeur, leader of Reuben’s descendants, made an offering.
31 He offered a silver dish weighing 130 shekels and a silver bowl of 70 shekels, based on the sanctuary weight, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering.
32 One gold spoon weighing ten units, filled with sweet-smelling spices.
33 One young bull, one male sheep, one young lamb less than a year old, for a burnt offering.
34 One young goat for a sin offering.
35 For a peace offering, they gave two cows, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs. This was Elizur son of Shedeur’s gift.
36 On the fifth day, Shelumiel, Zurishaddai’s son and leader of Simeon’s descendants, made an offering.
37 His gift was one silver platter weighing 130 shekels and one silver bowl of 70 shekels, as measured by the temple standard; both filled with fine flour and oil for a food offering.
38 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with sweet-smelling spices.
39 One young bull, one male sheep, one baby sheep less than one year old, as a sacrifice to be completely burned.
40 One young goat for a sin offering.
41 For a peace offering, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs: this was Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai’s offering.
42 On the sixth day, Eliasaph, Deuel’s son and the leader of Gad’s descendants, gave an offering.
43 He gave a silver plate weighing 130 shekels and a silver dish of 70 shekels, by the sanctuary’s weight, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering.
44 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with sweet-smelling spices.
45 One young cow, one male sheep, one young sheep less than a year old, for a sacrifice to be completely burned.
46 One young goat for a sin offering.
47 For a peace offering sacrifice, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, five one-year-old lambs: this was Eliasaph, son of Deuel’s offering.
48 On the seventh day, Elishama, Ammihud’s son and leader of Ephraim’s descendants, gave his offering.
49 His gift was a silver plate weighing 130 shekels and a silver dish of 70 shekels, by the sanctuary’s standard; both filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering.
50 One gold spoon weighing ten pieces, filled with sweet-smelling spices.
51 One young bull, one male sheep, one young lamb less than a year old, for a sacrifice to be burned.
52 One young goat for a sin offering.
53 For a peace offering, there were two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs. This was the offering from Elishama, Ammihud’s son.
54 On the eighth day, Gamaliel, Pedahzur’s son and the leader of the Manasseh tribe, presented his offering.
55 He offered a silver plate weighing 130 shekels and a silver bowl weighing 70 shekels, based on the sanctuary’s standard weight. Both were filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering.
56 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with sweet-smelling spices.
57 One young cow, one male sheep, one young sheep less than a year old, for a burnt offering.
58 A young goat for a sin offering.
59 For a peace offering sacrifice, two bulls, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs: this was Gamaliel son of Pedahzur’s offering.
60 On the ninth day, Abidan, Gideoni’s son and the leader of Benjamin’s descendants, made an offering.
61 His gift was a silver plate weighing 130 shekels and a silver bowl of 70 shekels, by the sanctuary weight, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering.
62 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with sweet spices.
63 One young cow, one male sheep, one baby sheep less than a year old, for a burned sacrifice.
64 One young goat for a sin offering.
65 For a peace offering, there were two bulls, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs. This was Abidan son of Gideoni’s offering.
66 On the tenth day, Ahiezer, Ammishaddai’s son and the leader of the Dan tribe, gave his offering.
67 His gift was one silver platter weighing 130 shekels and one silver bowl weighing 70 shekels, both according to the holy weight standard. They were both filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering.
68 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with sweet spices.
69 One young cow, one male sheep, and one baby sheep less than a year old for a sacrifice to be completely burned.
70 One young goat for a sin offering.
71 For a peace sacrifice, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, five one-year-old lambs: this was Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai’s offering.
72 On the eleventh day, Pagiel, Ocran’s son and leader of the Asher family, presented an offering.
73 His gift was one silver plate weighing 130 shekels and one silver bowl weighing 70 shekels, by the sanctuary’s standard. Both were filled with fine flour mixed with oil as a food offering.
74 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with incense.
75 One young cow, one male sheep, one young sheep less than a year old, for a sacrifice to be burned.
76 One young goat for a sin offering.
77 For a peace offering, they gave two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs. This was Pagiel son of Ocran’s offering.
78 On the twelfth day, Ahira, Enan’s son and leader of the Naphtali people, gave his offering.
79 His gift was one silver platter weighing 130 shekels and one silver bowl of 70 shekels, by the sanctuary’s standard. Both were filled with fine flour mixed with oil for a food offering.
80 One gold spoon weighing ten shekels, filled with sweet-smelling spices.
81 One young bull, one ram, one lamb under one year old, for a burnt sacrifice.
82 One young goat for a sin offering:
83 For a peace sacrifice, they offered two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five one-year-old lambs. This was Ahira, Enan’s son’s offering.
84 This was the celebration for the altar, on the day it was blessed, by the leaders of Israel: twelve silver plates, twelve silver bowls, twelve gold spoons.
85 Each silver plate weighed one hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy; all the silver items together weighed two thousand four hundred shekels, by the sanctuary’s standard.
86 There were twelve gold spoons filled with sweet-smelling spices, each weighing ten sanctuary shekels. The total weight of the gold spoons was one hundred twenty shekels.
87 For the burnt offering, there were twelve oxen, twelve rams, twelve one-year-old lambs with their grain offering, and twelve goats for the sin offering.
88 For the peace offering sacrifice, there were 24 bulls, 60 rams, 60 male goats, and 60 one-year-old lambs. This was to dedicate the altar after it was blessed.
89 When Moses entered the meeting tent to talk with God, he heard a voice speaking to him from the mercy seat on the ark of the agreement, between the two cherubs, and the voice talked to him.
